TRUSTING IN LORD IN ALL THINGS.

SUBTHEME: WHY WE SHOULD HOLD ON TO THE PROMISES OF GOD.

TOPIC: TRUSTING IN LORD IN ALL THINGS.

TEXTS: Psalm 37:4-6; Jer. 29:11

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Creator of all human life, with each one assigned their destiny of life according to God's purpose.

The Lord knows the ending from the beginning of life and sees things beyond our human imagination. He drives the ship of life both in the past and present and leads His people step by step to arrive at their destinations in peace. He knows where the storms of life are and leads His people to navigate the road. He is the pilot of the lifeboat and holds the compass in all weather conditions.

For us to understand these principles of life and abandon such a Creator for the selfish aim of going on our own is to step into many life accidents and eventually make wrong decisions that may tamper with our destinies and God's eternal purposes for our lives.

Every pattern and program of God desires obedience and trust. For believers, God daily desires that His children first delight themselves in Him, and He will give them the longings of their hearts. When we, as His children, do the above part, God shall bring forth our righteousness as the light, and our judgement shall be as the noonday (Psalm 37:4-6).

Amid several challenges of life, God declares in His word that He knows His thoughts toward us, which are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give us an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11).

Prayer: Father, help me to trust You and Your plans for my life. May I commit my ways at all times to You, in Jesus' name. Amen.
